The weekend builds to a massive showdown as Arsenal take on City in the Carabao Cup Final on Sunday at 4:30pm 🔥 Two sides right in the thick of the Premier League race now go head to head for silverware. Expect drama, intensity and a proper big game atmosphere. Saturday gets things going at 12:30pm with Brighton hosting Liverpool, before Everton face Chelsea at 5:30pm. Then under the lights at 8pm, Leeds welcome Brentford to round off the day. Sunday starts early with a huge North East derby at 12pm as Newcastle take on Sunderland ⚔️ always feisty, always loud. Then at 2:15pm there’s a double helping of Premier League action with Villa v West Ham and Spurs v Forest. Alongside all the football, the Gallagher Premiership is back after the Six Nations, so there’s plenty of rugby on offer too 🏉

So as Paddy has run off for another year, just a quick update on what’s on this week at The Cricketers. All week cold beer and good food available inside (and outside if this damn amazing weather holds)!☀️ Tonight Newcastle will try and squeak through against Barcelona at 5.45 followed by Liverpool up against Oshimen and Galatasaray from 8. (Tottenham in the snug to mount an epic comeback?)⚽️ Thursday night is quiz night from 8pm and Friday is live music with singer Native Tongue on from 9pm.🎸🎶 Saturday sees a weekend of football action with the Gills playing at home and the pub open for free bacon rolls from 10.30 to mid-day. Karaoke wildness to finish the night off - come try the new system, songs for every taste and going till late.🥓🎤 Sunday - yep, you guessed it football all day on the TV’s and roasts from 12.📺🍗 #goingdowntheCricks
